Westside MMA went 3-0 at AXC 6 this weekend in Little Rock.  Westside didn't lose a round all night!  Jesse Wilson won all 3 rounds for a UD in the first fight of the night. 

Jesse hit a great lateral drop and possibly broke his opponents arm with a top wrist lock.  We hope that his opponents arm is just strained and not broke.  Jesse was also in class the next day!

Justin Rice continued his BJJ dominance winning his fight in the first round via Arm Triangle choke!  Now Justin is 2-0 as a pro 

Josh Black won his 3rd pro fight in the first round!  Josh did an excellend job winning the fight by RNC!

Westside continues to put out the best MMA fighters in Arkansas and all 3 fighters showed great footwork, muay that, jiu jitsu and wrestling in there fights!

 Hillary Williams won the ADCC Gi trials on the 30th of January!  She will be competing in Dubai this year for the first ever ADCC competition with the GI!!!  We are very proud of her at Westside and hope to see many of our other girls following her footsteps!

Dec 19th Westside MMA took a large team to NAGA (North American Grappling Association).  As a team we earned 7 Gold medals, 6 Silver medals and 5 Bronze Medals.  For expert divisions they award belts but we counted them at medals to make things easier.  

Submission of the tournament was Mark Sniff in the Expert No Gi division beating a HUGE wrestler via Heel Hook in overtime in the final match of the division.

Outstanding Grappler goes to Spider Monkey coach Justin Rice for winning all 3 of his matches in Blue Belt by Bow & Arrow choke in short time.  "I guess Mark released the rights on that one"

Honorable mention goes to Jesse Wilson
